Presstick 346 is an outstanding membrane press adhesive, specially developed to deliver superior performance in all membrane press applications. For over 15 years its formulation has proven its value by delivering excellent and reliable field results. Presstick 346 is applied either by spray or roller onto MDF curved boards or profiles, in the production of furniture fronts and indoor doors. It is heat activated. Its unique composition ensures a very strong and secure bonding between PVC foils and wood surfaces.

For bonding soft PVC foils to varied MDF surfaces using a membrane press. Presstick 346 is usually sprayed onto the wooden (MDF) panel. When the surface is very porous the membrane press adhesive is sprayed twice in the edges and routed areas. The coat weight differs in these areas accordingly. The panels are placed into the membrane press after a minimum of 60 minutes drying time (the ´complete drying´ period). Heat and pressure then re-activates the adhesive, causing the PVC foil to be fully laminated onto the panel. To ensure highest heat resistance it is recommended that Presstick 346 be mixed with approx 3% of our PU Hardener just before spraying.
